Support aux battery status on Ring External Outdoor Siren #974

Just two standard D batteries? Why would you expect that the device would monitor these separately? Are there two batteries shown in the Ring app? I mean, my locks use 4 batteries but they don't monitor the batteries individually. Usually, individual batteries are only monitored when the are rechargeable and actually used separately, like cameras which draw power from one battery at a time. If you are sure they are monitored separately, you will need to provide data discovery dump for the device. |

Thanks for the screenshots, it does make it a bit more clear, however data discovery dump is the most critical. Are you sure there are no properties in Info sensors attributes. You didn't provide the info center state updates in the log, only the discovery entries, so it's hard to tell, but I would expect it to be there. Home assistant doesn't really provide a good way to deal with a device with multiple batteries, so it's not likely to appear in the HA UI in any case. |

Okay. As soon as I can I will make a data Discovery and post it here. Give me a day. |

OK, as this issue is not really a bug, but more a feature request I will move it to the appropriate feature requests discussion group and, if you follow up and provide the appropriate device data dump, I will consider adding it as a feature in the future, but, quite honestly, I see this as a very minor issue and I can't make any commitment as to when it would get there. |

Is there an existing issue for this?
Is this really a bug? If you don't have some way to confirm it is a bug, errors in the log, code that is clearly wrong, or at least a clear method to reproduce something that doesn't work, then it's not (yet) a bug.
Have you read and followed any recommendations in the Support and Troubleshooting section of the wiki?
Did this issue start after an upgrade?
Are you prepared to respond and provide all relevant information (logs, screenshots, etc)
