GreatVoyage-v4.7.2(Periander) planning #42

Using this issue to keep track about conversations related to GreatVoyage-v4.7.2(Periander) planning. We expect to release the Periander in Q2, 2023.

  • TIP-541: Support canceling unstaking in Stake 2.0
  • TIP-542: Resource delegating supports customizable lock period
  • TIP-543: Implement EIP-3855 PUSH0 instruction
  • TIP-544: Add call_data to the http interfaces interacting with smart contract
  • TIP-555: Network upgrade logic optimization
  • Network module updated to Libp2p v2.0
    • TIP-547: Connection precheck before P2P communication
    • TIP-548: Node Discovery via DNS
    • TIP-549: P2P support IPv6 protocol
    • TIP-550: P2P message snappy compression

To clarify, the plan is still under discussion, if you want to include more features, please create an issue to suggest adding TIPs to the plan.

  • TIP-544: Energy estimation API supports the contract deployment transaction

  • Network module updated to Libp2p v2.0

    • TIP-547: Add node detection function to quickly establish P2P connections
    • TIP-548: Support DNS-Based node discovery
    • TIP-549: Support IPv6 protocol
    • TIP-550: Support compressed message transmission

To clarify, the plan is still under discussion, if you want to include more features, please create an issue to suggest adding TIPs to the plan.
