The actual packet forwarding works and a route is configured by smcroute.conf (or by smcroutectl add), but nothing is shown for ipv6 routes in smcroutectl show:

$ sudo smcroutectl show

Good catch, may I ask what version of SMCRoute you are using?

It's whatever I got from "sudo apt install smcroute" on an ubuntu 20 stable build recently, which looks to be 2.4.2:

user@border-rtr:~$ dpkg --list | grep smcroute
ii smcroute 2.4.2-4 amd64 static multicast router daemon

Sorry for the slow response, and please let me know if there's anything else you need.

OK, thanks! I have a few other things in my queue, but SMCRoute is in the top 5, so I should be able to get back to the refactor and cleanup to help address this.
