Pixel 7 Pro with LineageOS 22.1 doesn't boot with Magisk 28.0 and 28.1 #8677
Comments
Interesting, I, of course, have exactly the same version as you do as there is only one 22.1 version so far. Are you using Google apps? |
Just updated my 7 pro to 22.1 and it has no problem with 28100(28101?). I don't use Gapps and uses microG instead. |
Getting the same problem here on my 7a, but instead of rebooting to bootloader, it just keeps playing the boot animation. |
I have a problem that's related to LOS 22.1 and Magisk 28.1. In my case the phone boots normally, but can't make/receive phone calls or play music. I tested that it always happens when i install magisk, then when i restore the boot.img everything works normally again. I also can't connect to the wifi. EDIT: Phone is Oneplus 7 PRO and there're no errors in the log |
KernelSU still works.. I'm guessing that Android 15 has changed the ramdisk or something with the init process since KernelSU is still able to give userspace superuser access |
Opening another issue (same as #8676) because the other one was autoclosed despite 28101 being the same as 28100
When using Magisk 27.0, I can succesfully patch and flash init_boot.img and have root when booting into it.
But with Magisk 28.0 and 28.1, the device doesn't boot anymore and goes back into fastboot mode, requiring me to flash the unaltered init_boot.img to boot.
Device: Pixel 7 Pro
Android version: LineageOS 22.1
Magisk version name: 47cc532
Magisk version code: 28101
