Do you know why it would not work on my device? I have it set to play out my PC speaker, but it keeps playing MIDIs with its soundfont instead |

Did you make sure to go to the settings of bawami to turn on the IBM PC Speaker and turn off the main sound device |

I did; it seems to only make short static sounds in response to some instruments that play channel ten (percussion), and the visuals freeze whenever the speaker plays such sounds; is that normal? |

You need to turn off that channel. Because bawami's IBM PC Speaker Mode has a huge issue on how it handles percussion and unfortunately it most likely will never be fixed |

Robbi-985/SomethingUnreal managed to be able to control the PC Speaker on his program named BaWaMI. You guys clearly need to look as to how BaWaMI managed to do it
