This is carry-over from #745.

Can we add a tooltip or text to mentioned what channel you're downloading from when hovering over the Download button on https://stage.thunderbird.net/en-US/ ?

The reason for this is the concern that users are sometimes asked on sumo to download Thunderbird again, and with the default download changing from ESR to Release channel, users may end up thinking they are downloading ESR but are in fact downloading Release unexpectedly.

Good point. However does the average end-user know the difference between ESR and Release? We have the ability to show a site-wide banner at the top, we could link that to a blog post?

Otherwise we could do something more explicit for a month or so and revert back to just "Download" like:

Oh which one would you like? Haha.

It probably won't be pushed up until March 5th due to my upcoming PTO.

cc @inattee for marcom advice. I'm not sure what announcement we're pushing out for the ESR -> Release change.
