Editing Message in Outbox opens a new email

Compose a new email
Add too many attachments
Try to edit it from the Outbox

Expected behavior

Original email should open.

Actual behavior

New email message appears.

Will upload the logs later. Why do the logs contain all of the email addresses that I'm using on K-9 Mail?

Can you please provide more specific steps to reproduce?

The only actions to modify a message in the outbox are "delete" and "move to drafts". Using the latter you can then edit the draft and make further changes.

When viewing a message, you can select "edit as new message". But that will do just that, create a new message using the contents of the current message. It won't in any way change the current message.

Well I tried to send an email with too many attachments, but then it got stuck in the Outbox, because the email system won't send it with that much attached. When I opened the Outbox the email is still there, then I can tap on it to open it. Then it has a Pencil icon at the top right, which suggests that I can edit the message and try to send it again. But that doesn't open the email, it opens the compose new email view.
