Is there a way to use ShinyDirChoose when an app is deployed? When the app is local, I can access all of my folders through ShinyDirChoose but when the app is deployed, the volumes start at "Computer" and nowhere in the various folders listed can I access the folders on my computer.
The idea behind the app is to take a function that is used interactively within the console and make an app so our colleagues can use the function without having to open R. The app needs to pick a folder and will create a lot of files within that folder. Is there a way to choose the path to a folder once the app is deployed? I have gone through stack overflow and the shiny community but cannot seem to get anything to work. The only option people are recommending is using shinyFiles but I have the same issue of local vs deployed.
