User Story

  • As a developer of the Keep Track project
  • I want the Satellite Changes (Sat Changes) Plugin to be updated to the new Plugin Framework
  • So that the tool can accurately track and spot abnormal changes in satellite orbits using the latest framework.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Given the existing Sat Changes Plugin

  • When I look for satellites with dramatic recent orbit changes

  • Then the system should utilize the new Plugin Framework to identify such satellites efficiently and accurately.

  • Given the current backend system

  • When it processes Two Line Element set parameters

  • Then it should be able to identify and flag key abnormal changes in satellite orbits.

Commentary

The current Sat Changes Plugin may have outdated components that don't align with the new Plugin Framework. Ensuring this compatibility is essential for seamless functionality. Additionally, the backend needs an overhaul to ensure it effectively tracks changes in Two Line Element set parameters. This will improve the reliability and accuracy of the system when flagging satellites with abnormal orbit changes.
