Now all temporary files and the final pdf are in d:\temp\latexbin, which is great.
I also had to change Options->Build->Additional Search Paths->PDF file in order for the PDF preview to work. That works fine.
However, the inline preview does not work. small PDF files with names like AvnfxC.pdf are deposited in d:\temp\latexbin but never pop up in TexStudio and are never deleted.
Does anyone know where I have to update the path to get the inline preview to work?

Hello,
I changed the output paths for textstudio by going to Options->Commands->PdfLatex. The new value is
pdflatex.exe -synctex=1 -interaction=nonstopmode --aux-directory=d:\temp\latexbin %.tex -output-directory d:\temp\latexbin
