Gradle 5.1 is now available.
- Repository to dependency matching: for a given repository, you can specify what it may or may not contain. Uses a content block with includeGroup or excludeGroupByRegex. Can also use a mavenContent block with releasesOnly() or snapshotsOnly() methods.
- Filter tasks with --group : instead of listing all available tasks, you can use the flag to see only tasks belonging to a particular group
- Target architectures for Cpp plugins : use the targetMachines property to target multiple architectures when building Cpp projects
- Kotlin DSL 1.1
- APIs for faster build configuration
Groovy:
- Groovy 2.5.5 released. Maintenance release with many bug fixes and improvements. See release notes for details.
- Groovy 3.0.0-alpha-4 released Expected to be the last "alpha" release of Groovy 3.0.0. See release notes for details.
- Groovy 2.4.16 released. Maintenance release for the 2.4.* branch.
Geb 2.3 released Improvements and fixes, plus a large number of modules for previously unsupported HTML 5 inputs.
