@jeqo and I wanted to start a discussion about the usage of Medium as a "mirror" of all the blog posts to increase visibility.

Most past post blog posts and all future would be posted on both the Sysco blog and Medium. The posts posted on Medium would additionally get a reference to the Sysco blog (blog.sysco.no).

Medium has both pro's and con's. There are many posts on Medium about the pro's and con's of posting on Medium and will link to a couple here:

pro's: @AnnaSabino
con's: @nikitonsky.

What do you think? Let's start a discussion.

As long as the primary source is a place where we have 100% control, I have no problem with reposting on Medium.
Of course we could discuss if we have 100% control over the content on GitHub, but I assume that several of us have a up to date copy of the GitHub blog repo.

Linking back to our blog also make it visible that the reposting is on purpose, and that we have a plan behind what we are doing
