How to tell if you are an NPC:

1. You don't have enemies.
2. You more frequently quote something you just read in the last month than something you quoted the previous month.
3. You more frequently quote titles/tweets without reading the underlying post.
4. You don't journal/meditate.
5. You don't have a Big Hairy Audacious Mission.
6. You blame others/situation/timing for underachieving your potential.
7. Your Twitter replies are more @readwise bookmarks you never read than substantive comments.
8. You wear the Default Uniform expected for your social class/group.
9. You wear the Default Opinions expected for your social class/group.
10. You use opinion polls as proof.
11. You think Mr. Beast is aspirational.
12. You hated crypto when it was down and got "more open to it" when it was up.
13. When asked if you are an introvert or extrovert, you smile and say you are an "ambivert".
14. You use the word "contrarian" to describe yourself/opinions more than others do.
15. You are more known for your writing than for your doing.
16. You spend money on health supplements/tools recommended by your favorite influencers before fixing your own sleep/eating/exercise.
17. You spend more time on the new than the timeless.
18. Helplessness that isn't even learned.
19. You carry on with your opinions even when the assumptions change, like Wile E. Coyote pedaling hard on imaginary ground.
20. You don't have any memory of the last time someone played you.
