<p>This website is the web presence of the Stratosphere collaborative research project, which is publically funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG), with further support from other partners, such as the EIT ICT Labs, the European Commission, and the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education and the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy.

The main result of the research project, next to the publication of scholarly papers, has been the initiation of the <a href="http://flink.incubator.apache.org/">Apache Flink</a> (incubating) project. Please note that the Stratosphere research project is not related in any way to Datapipe Inc. or Datapipe's Stratosphere line of products</p>
