As you may have seen on Twitter, Wyam is rebranding to Statiq for the v3 release. See #668 for more background information.

This transition will take place in phases:

  • A new GitHub organization named statiqdev has already been created.
  • The in-progress v3 Wyam code from the vnext branch has been pushed to the develop branch of statiqdev/Framework.
    • The new Framework repository includes all the modules and core functionality, but not the stand-alone static generation client application.
  • I am going to start moving framework issues from this repository to the new Framework repository.
    • Issues regarding the client application, recipes, themes, etc. will stay here.
  • New repositories will be created in statiqdev for each theme, and each theme will have it's own repository.
  • At some point later, this repository will be moved and renamed to statiqdev/Statiq and it will contain just the stand-alone static generation client application.
    • This will let us keep the issue history, redirect the old project URL to the new one, and maintain those sweet, sweet GitHub stars, followers, forks, etc.

Exciting times ahead!

Hard to believe it's been almost a year already! I am about to execute the last part of this plan and transfer this project to statiqdev - Statiq Web is already being developed in a branch on this project, so I'll also rename that to the new master branch and continue working from there.
