I have an old OpenUtau app image from Youtube and this runs fine but of course it is not up to date.
Then I downloaded the normal OpenUtau file for Linux (Debian) and there I have the problem that apparently the resembler is not found because I always get this error message when I press the play button:
Failed to render.
Unable to load shared library 'worldline' or one of its dependencies. In order to help diagnose loading problems, consider setting the LD-DEBUG enviroment variable: libworldline: Can not open shared-object-file: File or folder not found.
In the preferences, however, the item to select a resembler is missing and when I click on the gear next to the singer, worldline seems to be selected.
In the (outdated) app image everything works fine but I miss e.g. the Phonetic Assistant.
Now I read in the installation guide from OpenUtau that I have to put a .dll resembler in the resembler folder. But I have only one folder where all files are inside, without an additional folder. I have downloaded it like that and use it by typing ./OpenUtau in the terminal inside the folder to start the program.
Alternatively, I read in the faq of OpenUtau as an solution to the problem;
"Unable to load DLL 'worldline' or one of its dependencies" or "Dll was not found"
Install the latest Visual C++ Redistributable
But it is only for Windows or what am I missing? I hope someone can help me with my issue. Thanks in advance fpr any help! :)
