Hi, I'm Sergey and nice to meet y'all!

I'm currently in a sixth year of the PhD program in Computer Science at Stony Brook University. Besides doing research at the intersection of Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, and Computational Biology (I build a Blast-like tool but for a raw genome sequencing data at a massive scale), I love to tinker with computers and software.

As a father of two I don't have much free time, but I try to write some fun programs once in a while and contribute to Open Source Projects. Nowadays, I mostly focus/interested on Differential Datalog, Open vSwitch, and DPDK. And recently, I started to clean up some of the code I've written so I can open-source it!
