Hello Everyone!!

My name is Lorenzo and I'm a developer from the DC Metropolitan area.

I'm a former accounting specialist who's recently transitioned into the tech industry as a software developer. I'm also an artist and graphic designer that's able to create complex and beautiful illustrations and images both digitally and drawn by hand.

Currently, I'm earning my BS in Computer Scienceat SNHU. Previously, I earned certifications as a web developer working in both the front and back-end stack. Over the last couple of years, I've created and collaborated on repositories that were detrimental to my growth and advancement in Software Development. I would like to use these projects that helped me better understand and write code to create a series of courses that young, early learners (and old ones too) can begin to learn how to code and strengthen their technical skills by doing and coming up with solutions. I have some simple, fun, and easy-to-learn projects for learners to work through introducing them to programming languages like sJavascript, Python, React JS, CSS, HTML, and Django. These projects are the same projects that played a huge part in learning how to code and switching from a career in finance to becoming a Full-Stack Software Engineer.

With your sponsorship, I would also like to obtain the necessary tools and materials needed not only to properly build the project but also for books and necessities that would be needed while I'm in school. Another project that I'm creating and which would benefit from your sponsorship would be my hand-crafted digital icon set. I have gained a huge interest in the design portion of web development and learned how to use shapes, lines, and colors to create and build images. I then became interested in creating and designing icons. So for my first set of icons, I will create two versions of a UI set. One set where I hand-craft the iconz and the other set I will be using the amazing DALL-E software that takes in a detailed description of the image the user wants rendered and returns an AI image of the description using DALL-E's powerful API system.

I would like to ultimately create and design these icons and other variations and icon packs for users to use in there apps and web pages and hopefully attract interest from companies who would like to buy and use my icons on their platform. The first installment of these icons, which are called Zoe-Iconz, will be a simple UI collection set, the style of them are very futuristic, technical and a little elaborative in style with a modern aesthetic and has design elements like gradients and shadows, which sets them apart from your usual icon set.
