Hi, I am Kerry. Like any other GitHub user, I am a dev. However, I am more than a dev. I am currently doing my PhD in LLM and Information Retrieval at the University of Queensland where I also work as a research assistant.

Unlike the majority of PhD students, I worked in the industry for more than 5 years before I decided to do my PhD. I have worked in a variety of roles including applied data scientist, software engineer, MLOps engineer, etc.

I am in a unique position where I can be the bridge between high-level advanced research and industry. I am currently working on a tool called SlurmWatch (see my profile) to help researchers using Slurm to monitor their jobs easier. I also have some other ideas pending to be made a reality.
