I use the same breakdown as 8fold when it comes to earning and redistributing those earnings in accordance with The Community Principle:

$0-99 0%
$100-199 10%
$200-499 20%
$500-999 30%
$1,000-1,999 40%
$2,000-3,999 50%
$4,000-7,999 60%
$8,000+ 70%

This is applied on a monthly basis.

If you are thinking of supporting me directly instead of 8fold because you're concerned 8fold might give me the shaft or something, don't worry. 8fold will redistribute contributions to primary packages, per The Community Principle, they will retain 10%, then distribute the other 90% to package owners to do with as they will. (Even the bulk of that 10% will often be redistributed.) In short, don't worry, 8fold supports the work of developers.
