👋 I'm J. David and I'm the maintainer of pygit2 (the Python bindings of libgit2).

My maintenance work consists of reviewing and merging pull requests, upgrading to new versions of libgit2 or Python, releasing new versions, and keeping the build/ci system working.

I need sponshorship to be able to extend this work to other areas, in particular:

  • Improve user support and catch up with the backlog of issues
  • Work on the documentation and improve the API
  • Implement new features
  • Modernize the build system
