Hola! I am David Tejada, a developer from sunny Spain 😎. I have been suffering from chronic pain for more than twenty years. It is this chronic pain that led me to discover voice coding and talon. I have liked programming since I started learning some C++ at university, while studying electronic engineering. I have been wanting to follow this path professionally for quite some time but sitting at the computer typing even for just a few minutes made my back hurt badly. Thankfully, tools like Talon voice and Cursorless have made possible that I and people like me can code and use our computers with ease. Also, my pain is slowly getting better since finding the right physical therapist 🙌.

Using my computer with voice I noticed that the area were I struggled the most was using the browser. I was using Vimium but, although it is a great extension, it was designed with the keyboard in mind. I was in the search of a learning project and I thought it would be possible to create something better, optimized for use with voice, so I decided to create this browser extension that I called Rango.

I have dedicated the past few months to developing Rango and I am happy with the results so far. It fills me with joy when people tell me that this small piece of software that I created is making their lives easier. I would like to keep working on it full time. There are many things that can and should be improved and many features to implement.
