With the rise of web apps over the last decade, we believe it is important to have avenues outside App Store and Play Store where developers and organizations can publish their apps for users to browse and engage with. PWA Store is one such avenue catering to the largely unaddressed and growing space of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

PWA Store is a not-for-profit & open source platform aiming to catalogue web apps qualified as PWAs and provide the following services:

• [ ] publishing reviews & ratings (in-app & store)
• [ ] listing, categorizing and discovery

We aim to eliminate or significantly reduce the many pain points spawned by for-profit, centralized, monolith stores like the App Store and the Play Store. For one, we have no fees what so ever. Second, we have no tedious approval process with many rules & regulations. Third we never have access to your code. Fourth, users can leave reviews directly in your app. Just to name a few.

We aim to provide the much needed first party publishing for web apps via PWAs. After-all the web is the largest platform. We believe it should have its own app store that respects and maintains the integrity of the principles that the web was built on such as as openness, transparency and privacy.
