Stepping back from rspc's development

I am going to be stepping back from rspc's development and maintenance including PR reviews for the foreseeable future. I'm doing this for a couple of reasons:

• None of my personal or work projects make use of rspc
• rspc is in a fairly rough state. It's usable with Axum but the Tauri integration is broken, the documentation is a mess and many other things.
• I need to adjust my personal time and financial priorities

I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who has contributed and sponsored me including @Nohac, @TmLev and @scottwey. Along with @Brendonovich who has supported the project since it started.

I still truely believe rspc was on track to be the best way to build API's in Rust. Some of the features we have achieved in prototypes are game-changing and it's sad that they can't make it to reality.

This is not the completly end for the project. If my priorities change in the future I would love to continue working on it. If you are interested in significantly contributing to rspc's development or supporting it financially feel free to reach out!

The work you've done on rspc is tremendous! I've been using rspc in production since December 2023 and it's been nothing but invaluable and immensely productive. I'd love to contribute to rspc but I feel a bit overwhelmed by the current state of the crate coupled with lots of todo-s. In case you can carve out some time to outline the design you had in mind and some implementation pointers, I'm all down on figuring stuff out and preparing PRs.

I never made use of rspc but was very glad to have encountered it, and by extension your work on the Tauri Discord. Best of luck for the next set of adventures @oscartbeaumont, wish you all the success! And thank you for the fabulous work so far 🙌

If somebody would like to continue the work, would you expect the following maintainer to pick up this repository or make a fork?

I'm not sure. I'm not willing to hand over full control to someone unless I trust them so contributing to the official project may be more challenging than forking.

Given I can't guarantee I will get to code reviews frequently I could possibly give someone interesting in maintaining rspc some control over the repository while keeping Cargo publishing rights to myself so that I can ensure code is safe before the final release.

I know @Brendonovich has been doing a little bit of work on rspc in the past few weeks but I don't think that stuff is ready yet and i'm not sure he has a lot of time either to work on it.
