In Laravel - updateOrInsert doesn't trigger ActivityLog

Hello,

I'm currently working on a Laravel project where I'm using the updateOrInsert method. However, I've encountered a situation where the updateOrInsert does not trigger ActivityLog.

Here's my code snippet for reference:

Doesn't log

$data = Person::updateOrInsert($searchCriteria, $person); 

Does log

$existingPerson = Person::where($searchCriteria)->first();
if ($existingPerson) {
  $person->update($person);
} else {
  $newPerson = Person::create($person);
}

In model i have

public function getActivitylogOptions(): LogOptions
{
    return LogOptions::defaults()
        ->logOnly(['*'])
        ->logOnlyDirty();
}
