Blender will be dropping support for COLLADA files soon.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add an option to export to glTF.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Add an option to export to USD. Somehow convince Kronos Group to update and maintain OpenCOLLADA and the COLLADA specification again.
