I understand gnomit is mainly meant to be used via Flatpak, but it'd be nice if it supported being run without arguments in non flatpak environments too

Happy not to but I’m not familiar with what to set it to to create something that works across distribution systems (most of my dev work is server/client side).

Would you be able to submit a PR by chance or lead me in the right direction?
