Skyfield find_events provide a simple way to find times when a satellite passes over a ground station at certain elevations. I was wondering whether I can find an event that is also either at an ascending or descending pass (from S to N or vice versa). I guess I can look at a short time before and after the time discovered by find_events and determine whether it is descending or node, but if there is a more principled way I would like to know that.
