I've similar issue, I would suggest to add a flag for skipping registry authentication checks. @developit what do you think about? |

Hello!
Thank you for this great tool!
However, we are using private Nexus Repository to store our npm packages and it seems that it doesn't support whoami command. It makes
np
to fail with an error that we can't fix on our side.Does this tool really need to execute this command? Would it be possible to provide another way to specify the username?
