Feature Request: Ability to download all attached files of a message with one click #4425
Comments
In the meantime, you might have better luck asking the sender to just zip the files and send the zip. |
That doesn't work for me: I often send some pictures (from my Android-phone) to my PC to use them there ... |
For me zipping would be anoying, if I want to use the pictures later without any steps to unzip them. |
We likely need additional views to manage the workflow of saving multiple files at once. For example, what if you want to save just 3 of 4 images. Having the option to select specific images in the current context could be valuable. This feature may be better suited for the More Info view. |
Respectfully disagree on the "More info..." argument. Saving all attachments is a very common action... |
I have the same opinion: It should be possible to download all files with one button, similar to "Thunderbird". |
Bug Description
It would be nice to have a further download option: If I receive a message with several pictures it's awkward to save picture by picture (especially if I would like to change the path of the files every time).
Proposal: If I select a message and select the options "..." there could be a new feature e.g. "save all attachements"
It would be very kind of you if you could think about this.
Regards
Speedy-10
Steps to Reproduce
Proposal: Click on a message -> "..." (Options)
