how to set semaphore location? Is this preventing em to update from app itself?

It looks in $PATH for the semaphore executable.

If you move semaphore to /usr/bin/ or any folder you see in $PATH the upgrade will work correctly. I suppose we should improve the upgrade to use the path from which semaphore is running.
