Updating to jquery 1.9.1 speed issue

I recently updated jquey to 1.9.1 and now the scrolling of the page is very slow and laggy on firefox 21 (windows 7) when jail is loaded. Jail is still loading the pictures normally and it's still smooth on my imac and iphone. Did anyone else noticed this ?

I am experiencing the same issue on Firefox, latest version, Windows 8. I don't believe it's only because of jquery 1.9.1, I tried other versions with the same result.

I am for some reason having a major speed issue in IE11 (v11.0.9600.16328, Win 7 x64, jQuery 1.10.2) to the point where I have in the near term just had to write JS to check for IE and not use JAIL. Latest versions of Chrome and Firefox are totally fine.
