The main advantage of Snowboy used to be the https://snowboy.kitt.ai/ website and especially its trained database.
Would it be possible to get a website up that is free to run (or runs off ads) that provides similar abilities?
Currently, I have a database-less website put up (https://snowboy.jolanrensen.nl/) based on https://github.com/rhasspy/snowboy-seasalt. This however requires the user to train about 100 hotwords before they get a usable model which is far from ideal.

Hi, I am the maintainer of snowman, which is an open source rewrite of snowboy. We do are looking into doing a website to reenable collaberation. There are however a number of issues with that. First while (with proper data protection) its possible to gather lots of samples for the same hotword, it wouldn't be of much use at the moment, because building a universal model is a manual process. We would like to do this eventually, but we can't yet.
I have saved a number of universal models before the shutdown, which you can find here but there wont be new ones for the foreseable future.
That said 100 hotwords for a usable model sounds wrong. I generally train with only three and the generated model works just fine. Are you sure there isn't something wrong with your training pipeline ?
