I am constantly getting this error when I clear cache or warmup the cache.

[assetic] The template "JMSTranslationBundle:Translate:messages.html.twig" contains an error: Unknown "truncate" filter. Did you mean "easyadmin_truncate" in "JMSTranslationBundle:Translate:messages.html.twig" at line 14?

Is there a known solution for this. I am on Simony 2.8.3 and the latest Twig.

You get this error because you have not enabled twigs text extension. http://twig.sensiolabs.org/doc/extensions/text.html

We should see if there is a workaround so we do not have to use the truncate filter.

I've just submitted #313 which is a proposition to get rid of the twig extension
