[Feature request] Get posters/titles in localized version #442
Comments
Hey @simonbcn, thanks for the suggestion. I do believe tmdb has a language option, I haven't tried it, but I imagine it could return everything in a specified language. We could add a default region setting for the server to support this, then we can cache content in the specified language. The local cache of the content that we use to display your watched list would be a bit confusing to alter for this. I think we could just simply add a new column to store the server region title, then we can keep storing english as default too. So everyone on your server will have to use your server region language or english for their watched list (hopefully thats good enough, not sure if we should go far enough as to store titles in all languages (we could store all title languages in a json blob)?). Will get to this when possible. This is loosely related to #117 |

It is now downloading all the posters and titles in English. So it is not respecting the original languages of the movies/series. |
Bump! Would be great to have the contents and movie titles localized. Also I'd like to contribute to translating the UI, what's best practice here? |
My mother tongue is Spanish and I would like (if they exist in tmdb)
