This pattern is duplicated ad nauseum:
$init_system = $::operatingsystem ? { 'Debian' => $::lsbdistcodename ? { 'jessie' => 'sysv', default => undef, }, default => undef, }
Perhaps it is legitimate (I think of a service that has not updated to systemd yet). But it lacks inline documentation.
Also there's a gap in debian/redhat support. Bring up some vagrant boxes and complete the job!
