Hi!

Just checking before offering a PR, do you want this package to be able to support symfony 6 at least?

Hi @tdutrion
by any chance, do you still have a Symfony 6 compatible version? Or did you migrate to another library/bundle?

Hi @alexh-swdev! Since there is no answer I haven't worked on it, we're still using wkhtmltopdf, which we still need to move away from since it's not maintained anymore.

The recommandations to move from wkhtmltopdf are the following:

  • If you’re using it for report generation (i.e. with HTML you control), also consider using WeasyPrint or the commercial tool Prince – note that I’m not affiliated with either project, and do your diligence.
  • If you’re using it to convert a site which uses dynamic JS, consider using puppeteer or one of the many wrappers it has.

We still haven't decided but maintainance on mpdf-bundle doesn't look too good yet. Also, I should rename this issue to "Support symfony 6/7" now I guess :)

It looks like it's sufficient to just adjust the version numbers. I don't know if the PR #4 will get merged in by @sasedev, regarding his lack of activity on github.
