Corrections to Wilson, MW re verbs #87

Here are some changes made to Wilson. Most of these are headword spelling changes. A few other changes also occur.

In MW, several records were modified by adding markup so the headwords would be recognized as roots; here's the markup:
In these cases, generally MW indicates a variant spelling of some other root.

It's a fascinating work. To reevaluate what has been done months and years will be needed. But the amount of markup additions even in MW makes me think there are thousands of tags missing. That means there are not less than 100 000 tags missing in other dictionaries.

@drdhaval2785 The issue of comparing the root lists should not be viewed as complete (i.e., the work is NOT over). Maybe it should be classified as a research project, as the issues go far beyond the mere correction of errors to which this repository is devoted. Thus, I'll close the issue here. |
