@damon-atkins ahh it does seem its possible to nest kvm (which is what salt-virt currently uses) to run on a vm from a quick google search. Seems we could improve this module to allow VMs to also work with this module. Will approve as a feature request to improve this module thanks! |

Description of Issue/Question
Just wondering why salt-run virt.* has virtual:physical as the target restriction.
These days you can have nested VM. i.e. Hypervisor running on VM's, which is also acting as a Hypervisor running VM's
