Will require further study as to appropriateness of adding these additional grains for MacOS, for example: Salts-MBP-3:~ SaltAdmin$ stat -f '%Su' /dev/console |

Description of Issue
When handling software on Darwin it is worth noting there is no
root
group. The existingusername
grain resolves toroot
on MacOS.The only accurate way to determine group (and user) is via
cmd.run
which is not ideal. We should add
sysgroup
and maybesysuser
grains to salt on MacOS.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
