Error message on viewmetrics page disappears automatically

As a user testing out time-series queries against Argus, it is very annoying that the error message that pops up can't be interacted with and automatically disappears after a few seconds.

REPRO STEPS:

1. Navigate to https://<argus-url>/#/viewmetrics
2. Enter an illegal query in the text input box
3. Click Go

EXPECTED
An error message should show and stay visible until the user clicks the "Go" button again. The error display should allow the user to use normal mouse gestures (click and drag, double-click, etc) to select the text of the error message.

ACTUAL
The error message pops up for about 3 seconds and then fades away. Trying to click on it to select the text causes it to fade away and disappear even faster.
