Deleting a (Jupyter notebook) file via menu does not work (reliably)

It is consistent for me on 3 files (Jupyter Notebooks) where I have tried to do it:

1. Open file.
2. Pick File -> Delete.
3. See File Explorer with that file checked and a confirmation button to delete the file.
4. Click delete button.
5. The button disappears, the file is still there.

If I select the file and click delete directly in the file explorer, it seems that I have the same confirmation step, but it DOES work. Weird!

I tried this several times and reproduced it twice, and ONLY with Jupyter.

It might only be an issue with Jupyter, due to having to do delete two separate files, which is tricky.

It can even put the file in a "can't open again" state, or at least, I got a crash:
