Currently, all the resulting JSON is only rustc-serialize compatable, but allowing for the XML to be (optionally?) Serde compatable as well would be a nice feature

Is any development going on to complete this Enhancement request? rustc-serialize is deprecated in favor of serde. I will nice to have support of serde as well.
