Destroy method does not properly remove the event listeners

Hi!

This is to report a bug.

When destroying an instance of the virtual select, the event listeners associated with it are nor properly removed. This is causing the accumulation of multiple event listeners when navigating from one page to another .

Example:

• When the page is first loaded:

• After navigating to another page and going back to the previous page:

• When changing from one page to another, the number of event listeners keeps increasing.
