with version 2.2.15 everything works fine

appVersion: "5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_10_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) iron-node-app/0.0.1 Chrome/47.0.2526.110 Electron/0.36.12 Safari/537.36"

but with version 2.2.16 and above the break point is hit and then the program immediately proceeds
