You may see a error message:

Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

The console log contains the following error:

Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error

It means that you didn't setup the Google Maps API key. You can enter this key in the settings of the MapEx widget since version 1.5.0.1, read more.
