Unicycler won't run - Dependency issue samtools? #280

Hi,

I am trying to do a hybrid assembly but it won't work. It seems to be an issue with samtools/bowtie2. Both are installed but I keep getting the same error. Can someone help me? Its in a Conda env.

Update: I managed to fix bowtie with brew install gcc but there is still an issue with samtools even though it is installed. Can anyone suggest anything to help me?

Update: using the command below seemed to have resolved the issue

conda install -c bioconda samtools openssl=1.0
