Restrict start date for IMAP #64

Is there a way in mattermail that I can specify it to check IMAP emails from say 1Jan 2018 and not from the start of the mailbox?

Currently I configured mattermail but it is reading all emails right from the 1st email present in the mailbox... please advice..

maybe create a command line options to fill cache file with correct email uid
