Guidelines for Issues

Before submitting a bug report or asking for configuration help, check the project FAQ to see if it solves your problem.

When submitting an issue, please include the output of sudo ddcutil interrogate --verbose as an attachment if possible.

The request that the interrogate output be submitted as attachment of some sort, not inline, is important. Issue threads with long inline listings are hard to follow. The same requirement applies to any other listings of significant length.

Unless your problem is clearly related to an existing bug report, please open a new issue. This is especially true for closed issues. Issue threads that actually address multiple topics are confusing. If a problem appears to be related to an existing issue, reference the old issue when creating a new one.
