Will more details be forthcoming on what this pipewire sound problem is, how to identify if one is affected, and what the patch does? I understand that "our hotfixes are solely bash scripts, so they can be easily reviewed by members of our community," however, linking to that script in this issue would be a more direct way to inspect it than trying to dig it out of a new utility.
It should be fairly easy to notice if you are affected as audio output will not be working.
The issue was caused by Ubuntu shipping untested patches to PipeWire packages relating to snap. This hotfix bumps those packages to the Debian versions which do not have these issues.
Initially we wanted to keep the information short and to the point to get the point across, however I don't disagree that a link would be beneficial to provide, and I can provide one later to the hotfix script, however at the moment it is a bit inconvenient as I am on mobile.
